Choo-Choo!
Today Mommy and I met Grandpa Chip at the Heston Steam Museum's Labor Day Steam Show! It's this really cool festival that celebrates the old machines that used to run on steam, like TRAINS! They have lots of trains that we could ride, some big and some small, and I enjoyed every second of it! Here we are in the caboose of one of them.
If you look closely in the middle of this picture, you can see that the conductor is showing us the hot coal that is fueling this baby-sized train. He's also got a stash in the bottom right corner to make sure we don't get stranded out on the rails.
At high noon, everyone joined in on a mass toot. We thought we had missed it because we forgot about the time change, but luckily Grandpa Chip bought me this whistle in time. We literally walked out of the store, took it out of the bag, and heard the announcement that it was time to toot!
Check me out, I'm driving the engine car! Do you think I can pick me up a hottie with this cool ride?
Thanks a million Grandpa Chip, I had an awesome day! (Or should I say it was a "gas"?)
