Sick As A Dog

I came down with a cold this week. As if that weren't bad enough, it developed into Croup! The doctor gave me my very first prescription and boy did I give Mommy and Daddy a run for their money the first few times I had to take it! It was pretty funny watching two adults struggle together against little ol' me! To help cheer me up, Daddy bought me this new stuffed dog which we named Brownie. He's really squishy and I love him a lot. As you can see, another thing that helps me feel better is taking advantage of opportunities to be the big man in the big chair too!

Uh-Oh!

Uh-Oh! This is my favorite thing to say right now, and I'm saying it all the time! It's probably because I got so much practice while watching all the tumbles that took place at the Olympics in Torino. Mommy thinks I make a funny face when I say the "Oh" part, but I think it's just proper enunciation. We're not sure yet whether "Uh-Oh" qualifies as a first word or not, but I have another candidate just in case it doesn't. I have also starting saying "Mama" when I read my favorite book "Is Your Mama a Llama?". Maybe one of these days I'll direct it towards Mommy.
