Stone Soup

I've mentioned the cool cooking school that I've been to before, but now there's a children's bookstore next door to it! For their grand opening, they joined forces and put on a fun day for us kids. A storyteller read the book Stone Soup to us, and then we each got to chop one of the ingredients to go in it! I did the celery and my best buddy Josiah did the garlic. Fussy eater that I am, I wouldn't even try the finished product but Mommy said it was pretty darn good!

Belated Christmas

Grandpa Chip, Uncle Karl, and Uncle Danny came for a Christmas gathering today! Unfortuantely Uncle Augie and Aunt Cindi weren't able to make it, but we still managed to have a great time though. I loved being able to show off my newly acquired driving skills on the XBox! My favorite thing to do is drive along the wall even though it doesn't get me to the finish line very fast. They brought me some pretty neat stuff too, like a V-Tech game system (wow, did I clean up with the video games this year or what!), some DVDs and some books. Thanks guys, but the best part was getting to hang out with you!
