Bad Hair Night

Just when you think it can't get any worse.

Gag #1: Will someone please call my stylist? - I'm having a crisis, here, and I'm presenting at the Oscars soon.

Gag #2: Mom, I thought I asked you for the toupee that doesn't spin.

E.T. Phone Home

Does anyone remember the movie E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial ? Isn't it strange how events that were so big when we were younger are now just blasé? I mean when I was younger everyone thought that Spider Man 2 was so great? Geez! How old school! Everyone knows Hellboy can kick his butt.

Happy Meals?

Hmm...I think it tastes a lot like chicken.

Well, they've definitely been fattening me up - for what I'm not sure. I've been getting four square meals a day. Why most adults think three meals make a square I don't know. I've always thought a square had four sides, not three. Geometrical diet debate aside, I've been eating quite a variety of food. In the morning I get good old-fashioned oatmeal (not dad's flavored Quaker Oats, but I'll take what I can get). In the early afternoon they shove multi-grain cereal (wheat, oats and rice) down my gullet plus whatever jar of Gerber food is the same color as my current ensemble (so that the food blends in with my shirt). In the evening I get rice cereal and a jar of dessert mush. Most nights I'll be treated to a ground up banana or some cheerios. I'm still getting plenty of milk and apple juice with which to wash it all down. Hopefully soon I will graduate to more sophisticated tastes - dad promises me one of these days mom will actually use the wok and salad spinner he got her - maybe she'll experiment with some fusion cuisine: curry flavored caesar's salad with water chestnuts? That just may be chic enough to go well with all of the decaf mochiattas I've sucked down while catching up on my blog entries.

Jolly Jumper

Gotta Dance! Gotta Dance!

What was the name of that musical set within Singing in the Rain? Wasn't it the Dancing Cavalier? Well, as The Jolly Jumper I may not quite match up to Gene Kelly's footwork, but I think I've got him beat in the looks department. I'm certainly as debonair and sophisticated as Fred Astaire, right?

Ginger, dear, won't you be a darling and pass my top hat and dancing stick?

Snow Fun

Basic Luge 101

Finally after two and a half months of staring at that sled under the Christmas Tree, Mom and Dad finally let me take it for a spin. It may have been more fun if Dad would just forget about that camera and run full speed. I mean, geez, they even buckled me in.

Can we have cocoa now?

8 Months Old

Otto Joseph is sporting a genuine Vieques tie-dyed shirt and lovely matching hippie mountain tuque.

As you can clearly see, in my first eight months I have obviously acquired a flair for fashion. I am up to 17 pounds 9 ounces. I am also sporting two bottom front teeth (as soon as the NHL hockey strike is over I will be glad to sport a toothy grin for my fans).
